I would like to travel to the Dominican Republic, for its culture so different from Chilean and for its tropical landscapes. The Dominican Republic is a Caribbean country and its capital is Santo Domingo. It is known that RD is the first country to which Christopher Columbus arrived and the first permanent European settlement in America.
When traveling I would like to visit the city of San Juan de la Maguana, as it is one of the oldest cities in the country and stands out for the practice of witchcraft. Too i would like to know the beaches of the country and learn about the culture of merengue and bachata and the contribution of these genres in Latin music.
On the other hand, I would love to try more of the Dominican gatronomy, so far my favorite dish of this country is white rice with stewed meat and dessert beans with sweet. At the moment I would not like to work or study in RD since it is not in my plans to go for other purposes other than tourism.
